Curriculum

  • English Language
    Fundamentals of the English Language
    A number of basic and advanced topics are addressed including, but not limited to, letter identification, phonics, reading, writing,  grammar, typing, literature, and public speaking,
  • Mathematics
    Fundamentals of Math & Science
    The basics of math are covered thoroughly as well as advanced math skills. Math studies start with early counting skills and basic number identification. Topics of study include place value, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, measurement, time, money skills and commerce.
  • Science & Social Studies
    Fundamentals of Science & Social Sciences
    Children learn social studies and science through class discussions, home projects, mock governments, commerce, field trips, hands on experience, and literature. Topics of study include color, history (focused on but not limited to America), maps, people around the world, celebrations, planets, dinosaurs, the Earth, animals, plants, and understanding the seasons.
  • Physical Education
    Fundamentals of Physical Education
    Physical education is daily. Children exercise daily as well as participate weekly in Karate and sports class. The students also learn two dances each year. In addition the children go outside nearly every day (weather permitting). We stress the importance of the a healthy body and mind as well as proper nutrition.
